Mt SAC Relays

Akela Jones of Kansas State scored 6307 points in the Heptathlon for the collegiate leader (fifth best collegiate performance ever) and in the process gets the collegiate leader (CL) in the high jump with a clearance of 6-4 3/4. Oregon's Hannah Cunliffe loses only to ex-Duck Jenna Prandini with a 10.99, +1.7 m/s, collegiate leader and teammate Jasmine Todd runs 11.20 to move to fourth. Cindy Ofili  of Michigan wins 100h with collegiate leading 12.66 (+2.0m/s).  Khallifah Rosser of CSLA won the 400m hurdles in 49.27 to take the overall collegiate leader and move to 2nd in the world. Sidney Gidabuday of Adams State won the 5000m in 13:36.83 to take the overall and D2 collegiate lead. Patrick Corona runs 13:37.24 for 2ndand Shaun Thompson runs 28:47.48 over 10,000m for D1 CLs. Behind Corona, Mason Ferlin ran 13:37.56 (2nd on CL) and Pierce Murphy of Colorado ran 13:38.19 (4th on CL). Amon Terrer ran  28:54.42 in the 10,000m to move to third on the CL. Deajah Stevens (22.61, +1.2m/s, 2nd on CL) beats teammate Cunliffe (22.71 for fourth on CL) go 1-2 in the 200m. Oregon 4x100m runs CL 42.68. Edwards runs CL to edge Rogers 2:01.97 (CL) to 2:02.81 (3rd on CL) for 2nd and 3rd in the 800m. Isaac Williams runs 110h in 13.43 (+1.9m/s) for second on CL.  Megan Clark wins vault in 14-11 to move to 2nd on the CL. Jaide Stepter runs 55.90 over 400m hurdles for second on CL. Eliud Rutto runs 1:45.59 for 2nd on CL. Kendall Ellis wins 400m in 51.82, third on CL. Erin Teschuk ran 15:41.35 (2nd on CL) in the 5000m ahead of Edna Kurgat in 15:48.63 (fourth on the CL).   Results    Interviews

 

Texas Outdoor Invitational

Texas wins men's competition and LSU wins women as most of the Longhorn women have an easy week or sit out their main events. Aldrich Bailey Jr takes 200m in 20.44 to move to third on collegiate list (CL) as he beats Tinashe Mutanga of LSU (20.50 for fourth on CL), Taylor Ellis-Watson wins 200 on 22.63 (+2.0 m/s) 3rd on the CL, Nethaniel Mitchell-Blake wins 100m in 10.09 for fourth on CL, LSU wins men's 4x100 in 38.95 (CL) and women's in 43.23 (3rd on CL), Tierra Williams wins triple jump with 43-9 3/4 (2nd on CL). Arkansas' Alexis Weeks vaulted 14-10 to move to third on the CL. Chanice Chase of LSU won the 400m hurdles in 56.17 for fourth on the CL. Brian Leap of Penn State jumped 53-4 1/2 in the triple jump to move to 3rd on the CL.  Results

 

Oregon Invitational

Devon Allen wins four events with 110m hurdles victory in 13.48 for a meet record, 20.68 in the 200m, 51.32 over 400m hurdles and runs the lead leg of the 4x100m relay as they win in 40.18.  Results    Interviews    Races

 

Seminole Invitational

Tennesse has great sprint times with Felisha Brown taking the collegiate leader at 22.55 (+0.4 m/s) and Christian Coleman runs 10.11, +0.8m/s, to move to fifth on CL, Jussi Kunervo ran 50.10 over 400m hurdles for 4th on CL. Gabrielle Farquharson jumped 21-5 1/2 in the long jump to take the collegiate lead. Results

 

Texas A&M vs UCLA Dual

Texas A&M dominates the dual. UCLA's Nicholas Scarvellis threw 67-0 to take the collegiate lead in the shot put as her teammate Tori Owers threw a pr 57-5 to move to third on the CL. Hector Hernandez wins the 800m in 1:46.29 (5th on CL) ahead of Nick Hartle in 1:46.73 (8th on CL)

 

Azusa Pacific Bryan Clay Invitational

Jack Bruce runs 3:41.67 for fourth on the collegiate 1500m list ahead of Josh Medina of Chico State in 3:41.80 (1st on D2 list) and Josh Kerr of New Mexico (3:42.09 for 7th on CL). In the women's race New Mexico's Callie Thackery runs 4:14.99 (2nd on CL) ahead of teammate Sophie Connor (4:16.40 for sixth on CL). Northern Arizona's Futsum Zienasellasie ran 13:37.89 for third on the collegiate list.  Results

 

Ocean State Invitational

New Hampshire's Elinor Purrier (9:47.17) beat Boston College's Danielle Winslow (9:48.81) as they moved to 1-2 on the collegiate list for the steeplechase.
