MEDIA CREDENTIAL APPLICATION Apply For An Oregon Relays Credential Here (Deadline April 17. Late applications will be considered on a case by case basis.) CREDENTIAL PICK-UP & WORKING AREAS Credentials can be picked-up at the packet pick-up at the southeast gate at Hayward beginning at 8:30 AM each day, and must be picked up in-person. You may be asked for photo ID to confirm your identity. Hayward Field Wi-Fi access for media will be emailed out Thursday night/Friday morning. PHOTOGRAPHY Photo bibs must be worn at all times while in the competition area. The competition area is defined as anywhere on the track & infield. Photo bibs are not required when shooting from the seating bowl of the stadium.
There will be a photo briefing at the top of section 115, starting at 09:30 (one hour before the first event) on Friday April 19.
While the meeting is not mandatory, it is highly recommended you attend. At the briefing you will be assigned a bib which should be worn and visible at all times. You will be asked to sign the bib in & out. Bibs must be returned at the end of the meet. MIXED ZONE PROCEDURE All athlete interviews must take place in the approved mixed zone and the media are responsible for approaching the athlete to request they attend. Accredited media may request that an athlete attends the mixed zone as the athletes depart the field of play. Access to the mixed zone is via stairs between sections 116 & 117.
When on the field of play, please respect any instructions from meet officials, media team, event presentation or the host broadcaster and observe the video restrictions noted below. VIDEO RESTRICTIONS As a broadcast event, the host broadcaster is the only organization permitted to record competition footage occurring on the track or in the infield at Hayward Field. Accredited media film, tape or record no more than 2 minutes of competition footage, athlete celebration, victory lap, or the like, that occurs on the track or in the infield per day.. Accredited media are permitted to film footage of crowd reaction and post-event athlete interviews in the mixed zone. |
