2006 XO Invite - get ready for year 3Published by
EUGENE - The 3rd Annual XO Invite at Hayward Field will be held on Saturday, April 15th, 2006. The meet will be commencing at 11:00am and ending at 9:00pm. The XO Invite is an elite High School team meet at Hayward Field, before the Oregon state meet. With live music, games and Prizes for fans, freshman and wheelchair championships, awards for the top 8 finishers, a coed team championship, DMR, SMR, steeplechase, hammer throw and much much more... 40 teams, 1300 athletes, thousands of fans... Get ready for year 3! We hope you like the new and improved XO Invite website. We have added a ton of great features such as a top 10 list with pictures of the record holders in each event, past photos and results and even a highlight video of last year's meet. We tried to design the website with a simple layout that is functional and clean while still holding on to a little XO style. If you have any suggestions for improvement, let us know. This year's meet will be very similar to past meets in terms of format and excitement with a couple new twists and additions (read more about our biggest addition, "XO Elite Sections" at the Oregon Invite the following weekend). this time the team entry process is over and the meet is full with a
waiting list. The entry process for this meet was done by each teams
coach submitting an online invite request form in late fall. Please check out our entry information page to see how your team could qualify for next year's meet. The
individual entry process (for non invited team's athletes), will begin
